Queensland Police Legacy in collaboration with Earthtrails Expeditions is again providing the exhilarating opportunity to tackle the iconic Mount Everest Base Camp and trek to the roof of the world as part of a like minded team whilst supporting Queensland Police Legacy families and legatee children. Running for 18 days from the 15th of March 2020 to the 1st of April 2020 the trek travels a route dubbed as "the steps to heaven" with every bend on the trail to Mount Everest Base Camp providing another beautiful experience - forests, Sherpa villages and glacial moraines. The trek starts and finishes in Brisbane and travels via Kathmandu, Lukla and Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5320m. The entire trek is hosted by an experienced, qualified support team from Earthtrails Expeditions who will bring you close to local cultures along the way. Earthtrails Expeditions will donate $500.00 per participant to Queensland Police Legacy and are challenging each participant to personally do the same.

The Queensland Police Legacy Scheme works to ensure that the children of Queensland Police families who have suffered the death of a parent receive the education their parents originally intended for them, that they deserve and that circumstance might deprive them of.  Help those families and children and change their lives for the better.
